About Terri Lyne Carrington
Four-time GRAMMY Award-winning drummer, producer, educator, activist, and NEA Jazz Master Terri Lyne Carrington is recognized as one of the most influential jazz musicians of her generation. With a career spanning four decades, she has performed alongside legends including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Esperanza Spalding. Beyond her virtuosic musicianship, Carrington is dedicated to using music as a vehicle for social change. She founded the Berklee Institute of Jazz and Gender Justice and has created landmark collaborative albums including "The Mosaic Project" (GRAMMY Award winner, 2012) and "We Insist! 2025!" with Christie Dashiell (GRAMMY-nominated).
